Recently I subscribed to the Financial Times print edition.  I wanted the print edition so I would be off my devices while I read and enjoy focus away from ads and distractions.  I may go digital as well in the future but time will tell.  I usually read the news in bed so a device is the easiest way to go.

I’m exited to get a paper again.  It’s a little weird.  The deal I got for the first year is really good – I’m pretty sure the FT isn’t making money from my purchase and are targeting a new long-term a user.  I’ve been reading (or trying to read) FT articles for a while and enjoy their free stuff a lot.  There have been many times when I was really interested in reading a full story but couldn’t without subscribing.  Well, I did it.

I think I made the right move.  I’ll update this post in a few months with any new feelings about FT.
